Forfex 400 16″ Alligator Shears

The Bronneberg Forfex 400 16″  alligator shear is the ideal machine when it comes to the cleaning of light and medium sized non-ferrous materials. This shear can also be used for shearing ferrous materials like catalytic convertor,  reinforced  bar, mild steel round bar too.

It’s robust enough to withstand difficult working environments, making it an excellent choice for scrapyard use. With a 16″ blade length and powerful cutting ability, it’s a versatile tool that can handle both non-ferrous and ferrous metals with ease.

The shear head is operated by a mechanical foot pedal for single or continuous cutting. The opening of the shear head can be adjusted by simply moving the end switch. To maximize the operator safety, the shear head moves back to its starting position immediately when the operator removes his foot from the pedal.

This maintenance and operator friendly shear is equipped with a mechanically adjustable hold-down clamp in combination with a safety guard over the cutting head. The hold down clamp prevents material from kicking back and therefore guarantees operator safety.

Bronneberg Forfex alligator shears come with four-sided deep-hardened blades.  This robust alligator shear is equipped with a mechanically adjustable hold-down clamp, preventing the material from kicking back, and is designed for the cleaning and cutting of non-ferrous materials.

You operate an alligator shear head with a mechanical foot-pedal offering continuous or single cutting. You can easily adjust the metal shear head opening by moving the end switch. With operator safety in mind, the shear head also immediately moves back to its starting position after an operator removes their foot from the pedal.
